Absract. This article focuses on one of the many problems of inclusive education – the competences of the Bulgarian teacher, a complex of knowledge, skills, experience and values related to teaching. For the realization of the study, we are based on the model of the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education, published in 2012 in Odense (Denmark). The article presents the results of an empirical study of the attitudes of pedagogical specialists in Bulgaria to establish the conditions for inclusion of children and students in the general educational environment.
