Abstract. The present pedagogical research of the practice and influence of some interdisciplinary teaching methods and techniques was carried out during 2022/2023 school year , with the participation of 52 students 4th Grade. Interdisciplinary teaching methods of the school subject `Man and Society`, in particular the global topic `The Nature areas of Bulgaria`, were studied during the research process. The research aims at making a study if, by means of specific interdisciplinary connection with the school subject Music, the students` participation and interest in the educational process could be increased, as well as improving their knowledge and skills about the specific nature of Bulgaria and its position in Europe. The interdisciplinary methods presented in this article aim at creating specific students` competencies connected with the elements of musical expression such as defining the melody, character, tempo, dynamics, timbre in musical examples, as well as developing skills for one of the basic musical activities – listening.
