Absract. This article focuses on inclusive education and integration of students with autism spectrum disorder in general education schools. Psychometric tools for assessment of intellectual and adaptive capacity of autistic students are represented.A review was made on expected social stereotypes of behavior and skills in primary school stage (I – IV grade), methods and techniques for education, ways of communication with autistic children and additional teaching tools. The research aims to describe the specifications of categorizing and teaching students with autism spectrum disorder in primary school stage which will help future development of methods and approaches for assisting their education with the application of ICT (information-communication technologies).
