EDITORIAL (English below)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

DEAR FRIENDS,<\/strong><\/p>\n

On behalf of the Editorial Board of the Pedagogy journal and myself, I'd like to congratulate you on the New Year 2022! I wish you good health and many successes throughout the year!<\/p>\n

Dear colleagues, unfortunately, the year 2021 also passed under the sign of the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to reckon with the challenge of the cyclically appearing \"waves\" of the coronavirus, the educational systems (including the Bulgarian one) are experimenting with different models of teaching: variants of distance learning in an electronic environment; face-to-face learning in combination with rotational learning; hybrid learning. The first in-depth pedagogical researches of various aspects of this so-called \"crisis\" education have also been published over the last year. Fortunately for us, some of the authors of such timely analyses chose the Pedagogy journal as their scientific tribune. I earnestly thank them for their choice. I also thank the tens of reviewers, who through their competent assessments contribute to bettering qualities of the articles, published in this journal. All of you \u2013 authors, reviewers, members of the Editorial Board \u2013 have helped the Pedagogy journal to be established as a scientific periodical referenced in one of the most prestigious scientometric databases in the world \u2013 Web of Science.
\nColleagues, thank you for the professionalism!<\/p>\n

Dear readers,<\/strong>
\nThis is the first issue of the Pedagogy journal for the year 2022.
\nThis year as well, the journal will continue to publish new pieces of research in various areas of the pedagogical science which reflect the dynamically changing educational environment. The Editorial Board will strive to provoke scientific discussions on topics related to the transformation of the pedagogical paradigm during a pandemic and to the possibilities for a positive change in Bulgarian education after the pandemic's end. We will popularise the results achieved in innovative Bulgarian schools by supporting the research work of creative teachers and headmasters. We will publish brave scientific ideas and empirical research by Bulgarian and foreign scientists in the field of pedagogy.
\nIn accordance with tradition, in the following issues we will cover significant scientific conferences, round tables and professional forums, devoted to current problems in pedagogical science and educational practice.
\nMy colleagues and I hope to be together with you throughout 2022 as well.
