Based on the formal definition, an example for presenting 7 in two ways by using 4 times the digit 2 is given. The first option is without any restrictions and the objective is to have the maximum possible number of solutions. For the second option there are some restrictions concerning the type and number of operations. The aim here is to achieve a result with minimum deviation from the constraints.
