Abstract.<\/strong> The Principality of Achaea or of Morea was one of states, which\u00a0was founded on the Balkan Peninsula after the capture of Constantinople during\u00a0the Fourth Crusade. Achaea was fairly wealthy and could boast of many military\u00a0successes. Abstract.<\/strong> The end of Bulgaria\u2019s participation in the Great War caused serious political and social turmoil, which had bursting effects on the public order and security of the country. The national ideal that for decades weld the society and mobilized its energy, turned into fiction. In desperation, the society was sharply politicized and preferred to relay on rapid and radical solutions offered by new political parties that aimed to change the status quo. In this situation, stopping the destructive tendencies, maintaining public order and internal security, turned into main priorities of the government. Although exhausted and battered, the army remained the only capable tool for ensuring stability.<\/p>\n
