Spain<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>Abstract.<\/strong> Analytic philosophy has discovered its Hobbesian roots late and quietly. This paper joins the comments that in last decades have highlighted the historical and conceptual significance of Hobbes\u2019s philosophy of language. Particularly, it focuses on a nominalist category derived (though arguably different) from Ockham and medieval logic: that of `names of second intention\u2019. In Hobbes\u2019s work, this category is a second order concept that stands for the conventionalist gap between human knowledge and the order of things. Several arguments and evidence are provided to demonstrate that, for Hobbes, truth is a name of this kind (this subject has been overlooked by critics). It applies to names and sentences (and so \u201etrue\u201c is a name of certain sentences), including non-declarative ones, such as interrogations, promises or covenants. Thus, Hobbes\u2019s names of second intention allow us to consider a difference between medieval and modern nominalism, as well as a bridge between modern and logical Due to rapid development of this theory, considerable changes occur in the concept net with the help of which we comprehend the world and build our own activity. Whereas at the beginning of the 20th&nbsp;century, natural sciences, by picking up the general spirit of Einstein\u2019s theory of relativity, consider geometrization as an ideal, i.e. try to represent time and force interactions through space and the changes of its properties, nowadays, at the beginning of the 21st&nbsp;century, time turns to be in the focus of attention. It turns to be possible <br \/>to represent space through time, because the theory of complexity shows that historical and evolutionary stages of development of a complex structure can be found now, in its present spatial configuration. \u2018STUDYING\u2019 AS CO-EXISTANCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>Abstract.<\/strong> The article analyses philosophically the \u2018studying\u2019 as an&nbsp;education phenomenon employing the methods of Martin Heideggers\u2019 \u2018fundamental ontology\u2019 and references to it by one of the founders of the&nbsp;postmodern conservatism- Alfred Whitehead. Such an approach allows the reevaluation of the classical view of studying as an information process related&nbsp;to quantity changes in the student\u2019s knowledge and thinking. The nucleus of&nbsp;the idea of \u2018studying\u2019 as a process of affiliation to existence (the existing&nbsp;world) is the ontologeme of \u2018event\u2019 and the comparison of its interpretations&nbsp;by Whitehead and Heidigger.
